This was the ultimate police force movie from the good cops to the dirty crook cops. The 3 main characters are Edmund Exley, Bud White, and Jack Vincennes. Edmund is considered the "nerd" because he follows rules and is focused on being a good and just cop. Bud White is the Jock and this is because of his aggressiveness towards individuals who he despises. Jack Vincennes is the "cool guy" because he is not only a slick cop but he is also an actor and focuses more on his image then anything else. As far as the characters in the movie I felt that these three were perfect for the roles they played and they acted there roles very good.
Now that the characters in the movie are covered I will move onto the main storyline. I felt like this movie did a very good job of introducing all of the characters and how they showed all of their personalities. Throughout the movie there are certain action scenes which I also found fun and entertaining to watch and it gave the movie a sort of spark every now and then. As far as the main storyline I felt as if it was very interesting and it kept you on edge of what was going to happen up until the end of the movie.
Overall, I think this was a great movie and I feel that the characters fit there roles correctly and that the storyline also fit perfectly in place. From the action, mystery, and even sad scenes it was a mixture that worked and turned into a great movie.
